Aston, PA – September 20, 2024 – The KDI Cares Foundation proudly recognizes Brande Plotnick as this year’s KDI Fight Club inductee at the 2024 Pink Ball. Brande’s choice to embrace aesthetic flat closure after her breast cancer diagnosis has made her a leading advocate for body autonomy and women’s health. A volunteer with the American Cancer Society, Brande will also be featured in their 2024 national breast cancer campaign.

Her journey reflects the importance of early detection and self-advocacy. Brande’s decision to forgo reconstructive surgery aligns with a growing movement advocating for aesthetic flat closure as an empowering option. Her story inspires others to redefine beauty through strength and resilience.

Proceeds from the Pink Ball will benefit the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey, a cause KDI has supported since 2018.
